Howard is working with Dave Beazley. Howard has extensive computer experience which he says is self-taught with limited construction experience. Howard is excited about his job and he couldn't be at a better place.

At the site he handles e-mail communication, goes over drawings and plans and basically learning what Dave does. He finds there's such a broad spectrum and different aspects of the job. They do everything right from start to finish, he says, right from proposal to commissioning. What's helping him is his computer experience. He's learning concrete, the capital project process, how general contractors and subcontractors all go together and the types of contracts.

He thinks his management training is going well. "Dave thinks I'm doing really well and he's happy with me so I guess it's going alright" he says.
