Joshua Gardner, a member of the Eagle Lake First Nation situated 20 km south west of Dryden, Ontario. Joshua started work on June 1, 2009 as a Construction and Maintenance Electrician Apprentice in Thunder Bay for Hydro One. Joshua completed a pre- apprenticeship electrician course through Confederation College in 2008. He is very excited about his job as a C & M Electrician Apprentice and he is committed 100 percent to his job. Joshua's message is "If I can return back to college and then get a job than so can you. If you feel like you are not on the right career path and are determined for change, you can do it. When I was just out of high school, in 2002, I never expected to be where I am today. So follow your dreams, and expect the unexpected."
